Exterior and interior care

Tips for exterior care

  • Never attempt to remove dirt, mud or dust if the surface of the vehicle is dry.
  • Never use a dry cloth or sponge for cleaning purposes - this can damage the paintwork or glass on your vehicle.
  • Soak dirt, mud or dust with plenty of water before starting the washing process.
  • Clean the vehicle with a soft sponge, glove or a brush. Start with the roof and work your way down. Use only light pressure, rinsing the sponge thoroughly and often.
  • Clean the wheels and sills last to avoid transferring heavy mud or grit onto your vehicle's bodywork.
  • Rinse the vehicle thoroughly with water.
  • Dry the paintwork carefully with a chamois leather

Tips for interior care

  • Use a clean, damp cloth to clean plastic trim. If this does not provide satisfactory results, use a special solvent-free plastic cleaner.
  • Clean wooden trim with a clean cloth moistened with water. If this does not provide satisfactory results, use a gentle soap solution.
  • Clean cloth seat covers and fabric trim on the doors and headliners with a special interior cleaner, or with dry foam and a soft brush.
  • Clean leather with a soft cotton cloth using a small amount of water. Stubborn dirt or stains can be removed using a mild soap solution. Do not let the water soak through the leather or into the seams. Dry leather seats using a dry and soft cotton cloth.
  • Leather should be cleaned and conditioned every six months to ensure it does not crack or deteriorate.
